We’ve wanted to visit Rawhide for a while, but we’ve been waiting for the right event to explore this little Western Town located in the centre of Wild Horse Pass in the Chandler area of Arizona.

Throwback to Thanksgiving night when Rawhide opened its doors for “Snowy Christmas.” We thought this the perfect opportunity to see the town and I’m so glad we did.
“Snowy Christmas” runs until Dec 23 so you’re in luck as you still have one more weekend to visit for yourselves. Admission is free, but parking is $5.

Rawhide is completely decked out with lights and decorations and gave us a true sense of Christmas in the Wild West. There are gun fight shows at set times (for an additional cost) although that doesn’t stop some cowboys having a “shoot out” in the streets! It also “snows” at timed intervals and there’s a small light show but most importantly a visit from the real cowboy Santa himself!
The Town is open for shopping, snacks, drinks and a mechanical bull ride. Fun for adults and children alike.

The event space is large and can be rented out for private events or you can keep an eye on their calendar for other opportunities and events to visit the Wild Western Town.

And Merry Christmas from Ghost Town Hunters!
